Baily’s is a dog-friendly winery with a unique medieval theme. The crowd here tends to be on the mature side, as there are usually few party buses coming through.
Pulling into their parking lot, it doesn’t take long for guests to see how they stand apart from other wineries in the Temecula Wine Valley. Walking up to their castle-like tasting room and restaurant, you’ll see the occasional gargoyle hanging from the wall.
With two tasting rooms, a restaurant, and live performances, Baily Winery is a lovely place to spend a full afternoon.
Baily Winery has two tasting rooms. Their Main Tasting Room is open daily from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. $15 gets you six tastes and a souvenir logo wine glass. Reservations required for groups of 12 or more.
Their Estate Tasting Room is open Thursday through Sunday 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Guests enjoy older-aged library red wines. You can choose a sit-down vertical tasting for $30, or a bar vertical tasting for $20. Both the sit-down and bar tastings include a short winery tour.
Wine tours included in the Estate Tasting experience (see above).
Baily Cellar Rats Wine Club members receive two bottles of a featured wine delivered every other month. Benefits include:
- Free tasting during any visit to the winery for two people
- 20% off all wine
- 10% off gift items purchased in their tasting room

With its medieval theme and European castle decor, Carol’s is a unique and well-reviewed restaurant. Expect the usual winery menu items, but Carol’s menu is a bit more extensive than most in the area. Their Reuben sandwich is a hit, and they’re one of the few places in Temecula’s Wine Valley serving craft beer.
- Thursday-Friday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
- Saturday-Sunday from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm.
- Special Doggie Menu on Sundays
